About the Ministry We have held revivals in Southern Baptist, Northern Baptist, Episcopalian,  Methodist, Open Bible, Church of God, Assembly of God, Pentecostal Holiness and so many more, and in spite of the doctrinal differences, God touched hearts and changed lives. Revival is God’s direction for man’s reception ...  READ  It made no difference whether we were in the USA, Hong Kong, The Philippines, Africa, Australia or Europe, God moved equally because he is no respecter of persons.  The touch of God came because people had a longing to receive more of Him.  Language and culture, did not make a difference.  We have seen the same move of God touching the lives of people right across the globe. We began to see the Body of Christ like HE sees us.   In all our striving to be more like Jesus, we get a revelation of who and what He is.  However, it is what we do with that revelation that counts.  We often place our own interpretation on what God is trying to communicate with us.  The church has allowed those differences to divide rather than to allow the Spirit of God to guide us into all truth and realize that there is none who has absolute truth.  No matter how perfect we become doctrinally, we are still that eathern vessel into which God has placed His precious treasure.   The thing I have discovered is the God loves people in spite of their denominational leaning and in spite of their doctrinal errors.  He loves them with His perfect love and sees what they will become when He finally gains access to their entire heart, soul and mind.  That is why revival is imperative.  Revival is a state of your heart.  According to the dictionary, Revival is the act of reviving or condition of being revived.   It’s synonyms are Restoration, Renovation, Revitalization, Rekindling,  Resuscitation.   When God revives you, one, you get restored, renovated, revitalized, your flame is rekindled and He resuscitates you, so that you can become more effective for God. Your first love for Jesus is restored and winning souls and bringing others into a brand new relationship with God becomes your prime objective.   Where do you fit in the Revival Picture?   If you are dry and thirsty, then Jesus says in John 7:38 "If any man (includes women) is thirsty, let him come unto me and drink and out of his innermost being will flow rivers of living water."  Oh how we need that living water flowing again.   Spend time in the presence of the Lord (listen to one of our worship services) God bless you richly. Gil & Loraine Howard-Browne  On March 20th, 2011, Loraine and I celebrated our 20th year of revival meetings in the USA and elsewhere in the world. See Report It has been an amazing experience to see what God has done in over 4,000 meetings all over the globe. The name of our ministry "Times of Refreshing Ministries" is taken from Act 3:19  "When times of refreshing come from the presence of the Lord"  We have literally seen the refreshing of the Lord poured out on dry and thirsty souls, regardless of the denominational background.    Copyright © 1997 / 2011    www.revivaltimes.com   All rights Reserved No portion of this site may be copied or transmitted without express written permission from Times of Refreshing Ministries. Hosting by : HostToGet.com Made with Xara Web Designer Taking revival to all denominations hungry for God     Our calling is to the Body of Christ that are to be found in every denomination.   Our desire is to work with the pastors and leadership of local churches to bring refreshing and blessing to God's people.   Our preaching and teaching, cover subjects such as In our meetings, we strongly emphasize worship, the Word of God and the Presence of God. We give the Holy Spirit opportunity to move in every meeting and we see His power demonstrated in the lives of many in the form of healing physically, emotionally and mentally. Most of the pastors of the churches we go to, report a renewed interest in their people to pray, read God's word and witness. They see an increase in both attendance and income. Many report a decrease in the number of councelling sessions, as people have received council from the Holy Spirit. Seeing change in the lives of people In every meeting we give the Holy Spirit time to move and touch His people.  This  is not a planned and scripted thing, but the whole service is His to do whatever He desires.   Most nights we will have an opportunity to preach the word, but there are times when the Holy Spirit begins to minister to people during the preaching. The joy of the Lord is very evident and results in refreshing and change, new vision, purpose and direction.    Revival Statistics March 20th, 2010 marks the 20th year of traveling full time since coming to the USA in 199.   We have been in over 350 churches, conducted over 4000 revival meetings, seen thousands saved and blessed, in The USA, Canada, Australia, South Africa, Hong Kong, Philippines, Norway, Sweden, Germany, Scotland and elsewhere in the world.   Each year we travel internationally to take the fires of revival wherever God opens the door.    In 1996 we travelled to the Phillippines and Hong Kong for 5 weeks of meetings.  In 1997 we conducted revivals in Germany (Hof) and Scotland (Peterhead, Aberdeen and Fraserburgh).  Our 1998  trip was to our homeland South Africa and to Darwin Australia.  And in 1999 we held our first revival in Norway.   Year 2000 and 2001 we returned to Scandinavia and again in 2009 to Norway and in March 2009 a return visit to South Africa.   We have invitations to Seoul Korea, Nepal,  India,  Denmark and Australia.  We need your help to get there.    (If you would like to help us financially, please Click here).
