| The river is flowing strongly. Many people
have been awesomely touched. The meetings were extended into week two. We have
stepped into glory. We worship for between 45 minutes to 1 1/2 hours, which is an
amazing time for this rather traditional type of pentecostal church. The pastor,
normally laid back and conservative, has spent every meeting on the floor, drunk in the
Holy Ghost. His wife can be found somewhere on the sanctuary floor as well. It
has been awesome. A lady, scheduled for a back operation, who spent the duration of the meeting on a stretcher, and crawled to the restroom, ended up stuck on the floor under the power of the Holy Spirit. She later began to laugh uncontrollably and then started kicking her legs in the air and then began to move her legs in the air as if she were running. After about 40 minutes, she got up and stood upright. Picked up her bed and walked out of the meeting. I invited an evangelist friend of mine, Richard Burke, to come and minister on Wednesday night. God touched Richard in our meetings in Kill Devil Hill about five years ago, three years later totally healed him from years of suffering from numerous physical illnesses. God thrust him into the ministry and he has been holding revival meetings ever since. Fully booked until December, he had one night free and came to the meetings at Greensprings Chapel. What an awesome meeting that was. My wife and I were so blessed to see the change in him and to hear the great message he preached "From Glory to Glory" Several people got healed and many touched by the power of God. We ended the meetings on Thursday night. WOW, is all I can say. The Holy Spirit showed up in power. It was a real new wine night with the floor covered by the bodies of people under the power of God. The pastor and his wife were touched greatly. Pastor Bob left the meeting and forgot that his wife was still on the floor being ministered to by the Lord. We will be back in the Fall sometime.
