| ... What struck me was the hunger of the
people. No one was in a hurry to leave. They just wanted to bask in the
presence of the Lord. Sunday was a continuation of the previous two days. Just a powerful, tangible presence of God. The testimonies spoke volumes. People were so grateful for us coming. After the last meeting, we were having something to eat in the church hospitality room, when someone came to ask us if we would pray for a lady. She had left early and was driving back to Oslo (about a 2 hour drive) She drove about 30 minutes when the Holy Spirit told her to go back. She had been involved in some New Age activities and the Holy Spirit told her to go back and receive prayer for deliverance. I love it when God persues people. We left Monday for Boras, Sweden (about a five hour drive) and started that night. It was wonderful. This was the church I was in during my May/June 2000 trip when the Glory of God fell. By Tuesday night it was just as if we had continued from the last meetings. By the time we gave the altar call, the front of the church filled up. Wow, Wow, Wow. God touched people powerfully. One lady who had been in the June meetings and had not received much, came under a powerful anointing. She rolled around the floor for about an hour. She had recently moved from Pery to Sweden and did not speak Swedish. God is a good God. We still have Wed - Sunday and then leave for Sturdal Norway for a week of meetings. In both churches, the leaders told us how timely the meetings were. They had been working hard and were really in need of the refreshing that came. Acts 3:19 speaks about "... Times of refreshing that come from the presence of the Lord" The amplified bible renders it ... "times of refreshing, of recovering from the effects of heat, of reviving with fresh air" More to follow.... |
