Up State New York -  Revival

New Covenant International Church, Johnson City    The church has just purchased the old Moose Lodge,  which requires a lot of repair, repainting and alterations.   But that did not stop the Holy Spirit from moving.  The people were hungry for a move of God.  There was a deposit left by the revival that the previous evangelist had left from the week before.  By the end of the night, the place looked like a tornado had struck. There were bodies all over the floor on a few 9 x 12 carpets laid out to acommodate the backs of the slain.  It is amazing what people will endure to get a touch of the Holy Ghost.

Sunday, after a two hour drive, found us in the City of Mexico, NY, about 5 miles from   lake Superior upstate NY.  Lighhouse Church of God was a dying church six years ago with only 4 people remaining.   Past Ron Russel, left a church of 500 elsewhere to obey God to move to this tiny city of 1500 people to resurect something that probably in the natural should have been closed down.     God began to pour out His Spirit in amazing way.  They have just finished building the new 1000 seat sanctuary behind the old church.   People come from all over, some driving as much as two to three hours to get there.

The atmosphere is charged with lots of liberty and freedom.  Nothing flaky but with the odd runner, and  lots of praise and worship.  People get born again in the middle of the worship. They just start to come to the front and kneel down at the altar.    People were really hungry and directly after I had ministered the word, I gave those that wanted prayer an opportunity to come to the front.  Well the whole church streamed to the front and Loraine and I spent the next 90 minutes praying for hungry and hurting people.

Sunday night was much the same but the Holy Ghost began to touch people in their seats and some could not remain seated.  I love the revival.  Pews are getting a rest and floors are becoming the main destination as God moves on His people.    We really needed another week and the Pastor responded by inviting me to return July 30 thru Aug 2nd.      God is in charge of the Schedule.  I love it when His plan comes together.
