Revival Report - Burning Bush Tabernacle Revival Meetings This has been an amazing week of heavenly blessing. So many of our old friends, a number of them pastors, that we met back in the 1992/3 revivals we held here in Michigan, came. It was great to see them all. One of the pastors was Chip Lawson, a Lutheran pastor to the deaf in Cleveland, OH. He ministered in Song/Sign as he would to the deaf people, what a blessing. He too got mightily touched and went home re-charged and filled. Pastor Tom & Paula Rouse from Ironwood, MI, paid us a visit on Thursday on their way south for meetings. We were in their church two weeks previously. I invited pastor Tom to come and share what God had done in their church. He spent about 15 minutes sharing testimonies of people who God had touched in his church during the week of revival. One lady who had just lost her sister, came and God ministered to her deeply. She was filled with joy. She testified later that the week of revival had helped her greatly to cope with the sorrow of her sisters passing away. The revival got off to a slow start. Sweet and gentle. But by Wednesday night things began to heat up in the Spirit. God began to do a deep work in several who had come to previous revivals, but had never been touched. It was great to see people under the power of God and then to hear the testimonies. From deep depression to cigarette addiction being taken away by the power of the Holy Ghost. People shared how they had fallen in love with Jesus again. Looking across the faces of the audience, I could see the evidence of the blessing of the Lord on the faces of the people. If they were not laughing, they were at least smiling. Friday night was a highlight for the week. God moved powerfully. The last people finally left the church at around 11:30pm. We had decided to extend the meetings one more week. So we kicked off Sunday again. Sunday night had to be the all time best meeting. God's glory filled the building. We worshipped for almost two hours and God spoke prophetically in song and word to the people. It was amazing. We could not open our eyes for fear of grieving the Holy Spirit. It was heaven from the first song until the end. One man had to be driven home and many left staggering under the Glory of the Lord. We expect to go over the top this week. Thank you Jesus.
