Battle Creek, Mi, is experiencing an
amazing outpouring of God's love and glory. I have held several
revivals in
this church over the past five years and have always had great
meetings. But this time it is different. The church,
Restoration Life , pastored by Alan and Cherie Bignell,
have just relocated to their new permanent home in the heart of Battle
Creek. A 10,000 Sq. Ft. ex skate board recreational center, has
been beautifully renovated, and is already affecting the surrounding
area.
We have seen several visitors from the
local area, attend the meetings and get touched with the power
of God, including a number of young people, some handing over
cigarettes as they no longer need them.
Others wanting to
be baptized in water. Two 18 yr old guys, walked for an hour in 27F
temperature and the remnants of the ice storm from the previous day,
to get to the morning meeting on Tuesday.
Wed night was like an
upper room experience. "There came a sound from heaven like a
rushing mighty wind and filled all the house.
After intense worship, people began to
shout as they felt the Glory of God filling them. The level of hunger has been awesome.
Even some people who have been in every one of the previous revivals,
have been touched in an awesome way.
Spontaneous weeping and laughter
broke out across the sanctuary as we worshipped until the Glory fell. It's a new, fresh wave of God's presence and
there is more to come.
