On the one hand, the Spirit of the Living God is moving the church forward into the fullness of what the Father has for his people.  The heart of God is that we fall in love with Him all over again and that our souls delight in Him and our hearts and minds come in line with His will and purpose for our lives.

On the other hand, we have social and political pressure to turn away from God and His awesome  presence.  Our movies reflect this more and more and  we see it in the political correctness that has pervaded society.  It is more popular to speak about evolution than creation. 

There is such a desire to deny the Diety of Christ and to relagate Him to a cuss word or some myth or other.   Take for instance a web site where you drag and drop clothes on the figure of Christ on the Cross.  There seems to be a "who cares" attitude when it comes to God.  The world and it's anti God leaning would desperately try to discredit Jesus the Son of God.  Thats why we, the Church, need to use technology to spread the Good News like never before.  (put this link on your web site ... "The Jesus Film " It has been translated into 896 languages. )

It may seem that we were loosing the battle.  But not so!!!  God has not forgotten planet earth and He is going to send the greatest outpouring of His love and blessing we have yet seen. The evidence of that is the growing trend to go back to the roots of this nation ... good moral values. 

The past election results were an indication that many Americans really desire for the slide away from God to stop and for the Nation to come back to God.

I believe we are in between waves.  I believe with all my heart that there is coming another wave of revival that will sweep the world, touching literally millions and empowering them and equipping them to go out and spread the good news.  

There is a sifting and a shaking going on right now and the purpose of it is to prepare us for this next wave of God's glory.

Ordinary people from all walks of life doing the work of the Master and spreading the Good News.  Young and Old, it does not matter to the Holy Spirit.
