A number of years ago, the Lord spoke to me
about trusting Him to lead me to the right
churches and not to book my calendar and fill
every available spot. So we began to do
that. Usually when you look at my schedule
at the beginning of the year, you will see one
or two meetings booked and sometimes nothing at
all.
This does not make real sense
in the natural, but in God's system, it makes
all the sense in the world. He can direct
me as He needs me without my scedule getting in
the way.
I had a very busy
schedule for the first six months of the year
and July being normally a slow month for revival
meetings, I decided to take a much needed
break. A week into that break, my brother Rodney
asked me to preach at his campmeeting in Ft
Worth, as his meetings in East London, SA had
been extended. (

was an awesome week in Ft Worth. I
had decided to play a game on face book, during
my break. I am not big into games, but this one
was kind of nice. Called FarmTown, you
have a little avatar to represent you and you
plant crops and harvest them and sell them to
make money to purchase buildings and other
things for you farm. You have neighbors
whom you can visit and harvest or plow for.
Someone made a comment in the market place and I
responded to it and it opened the door for me to
witness to this woman from Canada and she
comitted her life to Jesus.
I had
a request from Pastor John Wilcox to be his
neighbor. One morning as I was tending to
my fields, a little male avatar popped into my
farm and complimented me on my farm. "nice
farm" he said. I replied "thank you"
The next comment "how
was last week at the campmeeting" There are
12 million peple playing farmtown, so I was
rather surprised. When I zoomed in to see
his name, I realized it was pastor Wilcox.
So we began to have a text conversation.
Pretty soon he said, " I have been praying
about having an evangelist come to my church
for revival meetings. Would you be
interested." I immediately responded, that
I felt it was a divine appointment and the
first ever invitation that came from playing
a computer game.
I have got to admit, that if anyone had told
me I would receive such an invitation while
playing a game, I would have probably replied
that God does not work that way. Having
now done the meetings and seen what God did and
the awesome presence of God, I must say that God
will use any

event in our lives to get His purpose
fulfilled. Loraine and I had such an amazing time
in Okeechobee. Loraine preached two of the nights
and brought the house down. People were really
blessed by her ministry.
At the youth meeting
on Wednesday night, almost 40 youth were
present, many of them not churched or
even saved. I shared my testimony of
how God touched my life with the fire of God and
how He helped me through the end of my teens and
into my young adult life. The power of God
fell in the place and ALL the youth got filled
with joy. Many got drunk in the Holy
Ghost. All prayed the prayer of salvation.
Many who looked totally uninterested in the
beginning, came to the pastor after the meeting
and said they were coming back next week.
We ended the meeting with a great move
of the Spirit on Friday night. We only got
to leave after midnight. It was definately
one of those "suddenlies" of the Holy Ghost and
a God ordained meeting with very nice
people whom we grew to love. Thank you
Jesus for an awesome move of God.
